For SFC:OP patch version 2552


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
FOR VERSIONS 2.2, 3.*, 4.*:
.. run the installer. It will do the work for you. It reads the SFC:OP 
registry key for the installed directory, so if you didn't install SFC:OP
properly, the opplus installer may not install properly, itself. 

Uninstalling normally will restore the shiplist which was in place at
install time. It was backed up during installation.




FOR VERSIONS 2.1c OR EARLIER:
1- find your SFC:OP installation directory.
2- BACK-UP YOUR FILES! Create a subdirectory called, say, "OPorig", and 
copy the following files to it:
  assets/specs/shiplist.txt
  assets/specs/ftrlist.txt
  assets/strings/shipnames.txt
  assets/strings/strings.txt
3- copy the files in the right places:
  - shiplist.txt goes to:
    assets/specs/ and metassets/
  - ftrlist.txt goes to:
    assets/specs/ and metassets/
  - shipnames.txt goes to:
    assets/strings/
  - strings.txt goes to:
    assets/strings/

That's it. It's installed. The shipnames.txt and strings.txt files should
be compatible to the standard OP shiplist. 




NOTE: All players in a multiplayer SFC:OP game using these files need to 
have all the same files installed. Any file that differs will cause an 
error message to pop-up while setting up the game.
